The course begins at the end of the Ethel Jacobsen School (200 South Barnegat Avenue Surf City, NJ 08008) parking lot goes out to Barnegat Ave. and turns north going to 13th Street where the runners make a right and go to Sunset and make a left to go north on Sunset. (this is the end of mile 1 and a safe spot for a water station) The route continues up Sunset to 17th where the runneres make a left onto 17th and go back to Barnegat heading south. Follow Barnegat south to 4th street turn right go all the way into Lazy Point. At the end of 4th street turn left onto 3rd follow to Shore Ave turn right follow to N1st street turn left go back out to Barnegat turn right on Barnegat. Go past the park/boat ramp turn right onto S1st street then left ont the easement and left on S2nd to Barnegat. At Barnegat go south one blk and turn left into the school with the finish a sprint the length of the parking lot.

WAIVER: I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I also know that there may be traffic on the course and assume the risk for running in traffic. I also assume any or all other risks associated with running or attending the race including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the affects of the weather and the condition of the roads, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry fee, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release and discharge ALO and DQ Events and any subcontractors it utilizes, all municipalities in which the race is held, the race committee, volunteers, any and all sponsors including their agents, employees, assigns or anyone acting for on their behalf, or anyone else associated in any way with the race, from any or all claims or liability for death, personal injury or property damage of any kind of nature what so ever arising out of, or in the course of, my participation in this event(s).
